„WYMIESZANE UCZUCIA”, CZYLI O HUCULSKICH MEDYTACJACH W TRUDNYCH SYTUACJACH…
Kto pędził do stajni, niczym wariat, by czym prędzej zobaczyć swojego konia po dziesięciodniowej rozłące? Kto po drodze wyobrażał sobie piękne, wzruszające sceny powitania, z końskim rżeniem w tle? Kto uśmiechał się na samą myśl, że koń, jak tylko cię zobaczy, natychmiast zacznie dreptać w twoją stronę, by nadstawić łeb do głaskania, wtulić się i opowiedzieć o wszystkim, co zdarzyło się w stajni podczas twojej nieobecności? Rzecz jasna, są to pytania retoryczne… Wiadomo, że mowa o mnie… A jaka była rzeczywistość?
Otóż, od kilku dni konie stały na nowym, obfitującym w trawę padoku. Wspaniale. Cieszyłam się, że podczas mojej nieobecności Spartek ma się dobrze, a nawet bardzo dobrze. Kasia od Asiulka przesyłała mi regularnie zdjęcia i filmiki, na których podziwiałam mojego rumaka, gdy chrapał o świcie w boksie, gdy wcinał świeżą trawę czy bawił się z kumplami. Jednym słowem, byłam na bieżąco, za co Kasi ogromnie dziękuję. Zatem jak tylko wróciłam do Warszawy, następnego dnia cała w skowronkach pognałam do stajni. Wjeżdżając na drogę, ciągnącą się wzdłuż nowego padoku, od razu wypatrzyłam Spartka w towarzystwie Czesia i Zahiry. Doszły mnie bowiem plotki, że Zahira wpadła Spartkowi i Aśkowi w oko, więc pod moją nieobecność nasza banda nieco się powiększyła. Zatrzymałam się na wysokości naszych rumaków, uchyliłam okno w samochodzie i zawołałam Spartana. Uniósł łeb znad trawy, spojrzał na mnie i wrócił do swoich zajęć. Nic. Nie zrobił nawet pół kroku w moją stronę. Za to Czesław natychmiast przybiegł do ogrodzenia. Powitałam do serdecznie i powiedziałam, że zaraz do nich przyjdę, co też zrobiłam po paru minutach. No cóż… Ponieważ całe stado pasło się pod samą asfaltówką, czyli jakieś pięćset metrów od wejścia na padok, Spartek miał mnóstwo czasu, by jednak zauważyć, że idę w jego stronę. Ten typ ma jednak nerwy ze stali, a serce z kamienia, więc do ostatniej chwili udawał, że mnie nie widzi. Ani razu nawet nie spojrzał w moją stronę, obsesyjnie zrywając kolejne kępki trawy. 
Czesiu zaś, moje kudłate słoneczko, niemalże biegiem ruszył do mnie od razu, jak tylko ujrzał mnie na horyzoncie. Przyleciał cały rozanielony i – jak nie on – wtulił we mnie swój łeb i nadstawił się do głaskania. Zazwyczaj nie lubi zbytniego spoufalania się i tych wszystkich dziewczyńskich przytulasków. Tym razem widać było, że naprawdę się cieszy z mojej obecności i pokazuje to na wszelkie znane mu sposoby. No cóż, musiałam zadowolić się Cześkowym powitaniem. Spartek, choć w ostatnim momencie, gdy byłam już jakieś dwadzieścia metrów od niego, łaskawie ruszył w moją stronę, jednak żadnych dobrze mi znanych powitalnych odgłosów nie było. Żadnego powitalnego chrumkania – zero emocji. Nie chcę twierdzić, że był na mnie obrażony, ale ewidentnie coś było nie tak. I co się dziwić? Dziesięć dni? Gdy przedtem widywaliśmy się prawie codziennie? No cóż, najwyraźniej przegięłam… I miałam za swoje.
